Sorbacal® SPS: special hydrated lime for SO2

Sorbacal SPS is an hydrated lime (Ca5OH)₂) with improved performances, dedicated to the removal of gaseous acid pollutants using dry processes and related methods.

This dry,  white, ready-to-use powder, allows a broader use of Sorbacal in order to cope with high SO₂ removal requests and expectations.

Sorbacal SPS (“special sulfur”) has the same physical and chemical characteristics as Sorbacal SP but it is activated at the time of its production in order to improve performance.

Like Sorbacal SP, it doesn’t require prior grinding and is compatible with a very wide temperature range.

Pollutants neutralised: SO₂, SO₃, HCl, HF, Selenium
