Sorbacal® SP

Sorbacal SP is a dry, white, ready-to-use powder (no grinding needed before injection). With a high performance, this calcic reagent is designed to remove gaseous acid pollutants using dry processes and related methods.

Compared to Sorbacal H, Sorbacal® SP was specifically developed in order to boost the neutralisation performance using the dry process.

From a chemical point of view Sorbacal SP is nothing more than high purity Ca(OH)2.

From a physical point of view, it is characterised by a Specific Surface Area (SSA BET method) superior to 40 m²/g (vs. 15 m²/g for a normal hydrate) and a pore volume of 0.2 cm³/g (vs. 0.08 mm³/g for a normal hydrate).
