Principles
The dry process consists of the reaction between a dry powder with the gas phase pollutants.
The reaction products are dry and captured by downstream filtering media.
The advantages of a dry process are :

- High flexibility (temperature and capacity)
- No liquid effluents
- Possibility to remove micro-pollutants by adding a specific reagent
This process requires ideally a high quality sorbent to achieve the best performance and minimize the residue production.
