Lhoist offers several different logistics solutions.

Tailor-made transport

The logistics involved in delivering finished products to our various customers depend on the distance, the geographical position, on site storage constraints and the means of transport available: train, road or boat.

Lhoist is developing intermodal solutions; for example linking the plant by train to a port terminal from where the loads continue by boat, meanings that the product can be transported over longer distances.

We can also connect the plant by train to a terminal and then supply the local market by road.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

This is a modern supply chain management method, with the management of the customer’s inventory handled by the supplier.
Using electronically transmitted inventory data, the supplier plans the optimum delivery time and refill quantity in agreement with the customer.

This is a comprehensive solution optimises your supply chain management. It offers the reliable dispatch of your raw materials and reagents.
